Forest Plant and Tree Identification is a short course offered by the Rutgers Environmental Steward program and the Rutgers Urban Forestry program. Each session teaches 10-15 different species. Sign up for the sessions that fit best in your schedule.
The course is open to:
- Active Rutgers Cooperative Extension Volunteers (i.e., Environmental Steward, Tree Steward, Green Infrastructure Champion, Master Gardener)
- Landscape Industry Professionals
- Government Employees (i.e., County Parks Department, DPW)
- Stewardship Professionals
Registrants must be actively involved with stewarding or managing a forested/wooded area.
Each session is capped at 20 participants.
